Mens Winter Weatherpants
Ray Protano, Sturbridge, Mass
"Okay, RailRiders, I have to tell you, I didn't believe how tough the Winter Weatherpants were because they are so light. Last week I went hiking in the White Mountains. We climbed Mt. Madison and there was a ton of snow, deep snow the last half or three quarters of a mile from the hut. I fell through the snow a dozen times, once without my left leg touching down. When I tried to crawl on all fours, my arm would go through and I would hit my face on the ground. Needless to say, my Weatherpants were all wet and dirty. We took a more exposed but steeper trail on the way down. More exposed means less snow but it was steeper. I found myself sliding down rocks on my
derriere. That night I looked at my very tough and expensive backpack, the bottom was pretty chewed up. After washing,
I looked at my Weatherpants; you couldn't even tell I was sliding down rocks on them. I wouldn't be writing this
email if it wasn't true. Thanks for a truly tough and comfortable pair of pants. Oh, and did I tell you how quickly they dried
when I got to the top and laid down in the sun? These are the only outdoor pants for me." |
