You crave the path less chosen, and if that path just happens to be choked with dense brush, so much the better. We almost considered calling these new pants “machete,” since they can knife through through the nastiest undergrowth, but we settled on Rock Jeans because when these comfortable yet rugged trousers are not doing 4WD duty in the backcountry, they are stylish enough for hanging out in the lodge’s dining room as you toast the day’s events and approaching sunset with a hearty Merlot. Our Rock Jeans are not made with denim which gets heavy and uncomfortable when damp; instead, they are built with soft-to-the-touch 6.6-ounce Yukon Canvas fabric --the same quickdrying synthetic material used in our popular Versatac Mid-Pants and Yukon Work Pants. For additional protection, they are fully reinforced in the front and seat with a second layer of Yukon canvas fabric. You could throw small rocks at these pants and they would bounce right off, they are so tough and durable. Additional standout features include deep front pockets, two flap zippered back pockets, and side pocket for your GPS-equipped cell phone and energy bars. Fixed waistband with even waist sizes.
