Need a pair of pants that can take you to work, hike a mountain and go straight out to dinner? Yup, these are the ones. The Commuter Khakis are made from a soft 77/23 cotton/polyester blend that is softer than synthetics and dries faster than cotton. With the same fit as our popular Cool Khakis, they offer deep front pockets, side zippered security pocket, cell phone pocket and 2 back pockets. Experience the perfect pant for all seasons.
Reason For Being: A versatile pair of pants made from predominantly natural fibers that looks nice and wears well.
Fabric: A 77/23 cotton/polyester blend offers the best of comfort and performance. Cotton makes the pants soft and flexible while the polyester makes them dry quicker and breathe better.
Pockets: The Commuter Khakis come with deep front pockets, open back pockets, a hidden zipper security pocket, and a cellphone pocket designed to fit an iPhone 6.
Conical Fit: The Commuter Khakis come with a “conical waistband” designed to fit comfortably around the hips, providing freedom of movement and unparalleled comfort.
I'll be buying more colors of these pants would be great if RR included a blue color choice. These are very comfortable reasonably quick drying. Really like the cell phone side-draw pocket. My new go-to pants.

this is the perfect pair of everyday pants. They are versitil and comfortable. They also look nicer than the others while still be quick dry. The pockets are a great set up as well. I wear them all the time and probably should get another pair.

The fit is good. I am 6' 2" tall and the length is perfect however I am a true 33 inch waist but only 34 is available so the material bunches a bit when I cinch my belt. Such is life. I really appreciate the cell phone pocket but I wish the rear pockets were zippered like the Backcountry Khakis for security. In my opinion the standard blue jean rear pockets cheapen the look and cause concern that I'll lose my wallet during rough activity. I really wanted to purchase another pair of Backcountry Khakis in granite but that color is no longer offered so I opted for the Ridgeline Khakis in white sand thinking that the step down from 14 ounce to 13 ounce material would be negligible but I was wrong. The 13 ounce material used on the Ridgeline Khakis is noticeably thinner than the Backcountry Khakis and it wrinkles No doubt other people with other tastes will find the Ridgeline Khakis perfect for their needs but I would prefer that RailRiders add a cell phone pocket to the Backcountry Khakis and offer them once again in the granite color. Then I'd be in seventh heaven.
