Fabric: Sueded 6oz nylon is soft and smooth on the skin while providing rugged durability.
Zipper Pockets: Both front and back pockets are closed by zipper, along with the hidden zippered security pocket. Welted side pockets zip open and closed for extra storage.
Reinforcement: The Wayfarer Pants are reinforced with an extra layer of fabric on the seat, knees, and ankles to provide extra durability even with extreme use.
This is my second pair of RailRiders and they're as good as the first pair I bought if not better They are a slightly heavier weight (which frankly is more like a "regular" weight as my other ones are super lightweight. Well constructed love the color and the fit is perfect.

These are excellent pants. The fabric is a heavier nylon that feels a bit like cotton. The pockets are great.

Buying another pair Last year upon receipt of first pair of these very heavy duty Wayfarer pants (heaviest nylon cloth I've seen as thick as denim) wrote a five star review based on looks and feel before using in the bush. Initial concern of too slow drying proved not valid. While not as fast drying as Extreme (also very good bush pants) these dry fast enough. Even if damp at tent time dry more overnight and do not feel overly cold in the morning. Last summer's canoe trip was down the Albany River (Ontario). Water was very low so the 500 foot overall drop translated into rapid after rapid with way too many rocks for comfort. Lots of wading in strong rapids. These pants do not have flaps/patch pockets that catch/drag water (also an important feature when pushing through undergrowth where no trail). If six stars were allowed these deserve them for tough use.
