The Graduate

It was the year 1967 when the movie the Graduate debuted on the silver screen.  Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft made history as Ben Braddock and Mrs. Robinson.  It’s the story of a young preppy boy graduating from the prestigious Williams College and his coming of age. You know the rest.  Now back in 1967 in the new England college scene, sweaters were very popular to mark your status in life. V-neck, Crew neck and Henley’s dotted the landscape.  Always seen on campuses, fraternities, pubs and around town these iconic sweaters told a lot about you.
