The Bushwacker Weatherpant is the newest addition to our famous tough pants collection. A full featured pant with a great fit. A balistically tough outdoor pant yet refined enough for hanging out in those Palo Alto juice bars. Features include: Tough 2ply 3oz Duralite Nylon with Railtex reinforced seat, knees and back of ankle, Deep front pockets with side security zip pocket, 2 zippered back pockets, arcticulated cell phone pocket on right leg, cross-quad zippered pockets for easy access and storage, 2" belt loops, removable belt and a D-ring attached to the front belt loop for attaching keys, carabiners, etc. If there was a perfect pant for the Barkley Marathon or the death race in Vermont, this pant would be it!
Reason For Being: We wanted to revamp our old Weatherpant design, so we took off the elastic cuff, added thigh pockets and a few other small features, but without sacrificing any of the Weatherpants’ legendary durability. These things will keep you happy bushwhacking through anything.
Fabric: Our standard 2 ply, 3 ounce nylon, which gives the best possible combination of durability, breathability, quick drying, and comfort.
Small Stuff: We added taller reinforcements, a new cell phone pocket, thigh pockets, a plastic D-ring to attach accessories, and tweaked the fit to create our most popular pair of pants yet.
RAILTEX Reinforcement: Railtex is the reinforcement nylon we put on most of our pants, similar to Cordura®. It is highly abrasion resistant and water resistant and is a second layer of defense. We reinforce the highest-impact areas of your pant: the knees, ankles, and butt, to ensure they last forever.
I own two pair of these pants. The company is very easy to deal with and the pants are superb. They are great for travel hiking and canoeing. They are too noisy for hunting but very durable. I cannot imagine wearing these to work even on casual Fridays unless I was in the outdoor recreation field. Why only 3 stars They deserve 5 stars. My beef is that there is no women's equivalent with the same pocket arrangement. When my bride and I go canoeing she has nowhere near the pockets or arrangement of pockets as I do. I bought her one pair and no more. There must be a way to make this identical pant in a women's cut. There is no reason to limit this pant by gender.

I was hoping to send this to you earlier but ski season hit and I was off! I wanted to thank you for an awesome pant! I work for the U.S. Forest Service on a wilderness trail crew. At 46 I left the corporate world and followed my dreams.I've never looked back. This year I spent 100 nights in the field and I wore the same pair of Bushwaker Weatherpants everyday. They saw abuse beyond belief, from axes, crosscut saws, rocks, river crossings and 30 mile days. One pair for one hundred days and counting. I will be wearing the exact same pair next season! So, here's to 200 days in the wilderness and one pair of amazing pants! Keep up the good work!
This is my third pair of railriders and they are as tough and light as the others with improved pockets. But I do prefer a tighter boot-cut cuff to keep out the bugs and brush as my previous pants have.
