Porto Pullover

You and your family have arrived for an adventure in Portugal.  Your first stop is the Douro Valley located upstream (east) of Porto, stretching inland along the Douro River, with key towns like Régua and Pinhão marking the heart of this famous wine region where port wine grapes are grown and produced.  Your guide to the Valley is Paolo, a boisterous fun man who becomes your best friend riding shotgun beside him in the van.   It is a stunning spring day, and your view of the valley is simply amazing from the boat as it cruises up the Douro River while drinking some local alcohol fruit spritzer.  You wear your gorgeous new Porto Pullover; so appropriate and made of 60% cotton, 40% polyester, it is ideal for the climate. Our tours ends at Paolo’s mothers house where we are served a traditional Portuguese dinner with a varied selection of ports.  The evening ends with one of Paolo’s brothers pouring Grappa down our throats from an oil can till we say stop.
