Redesigned with better pockets, belt loop and an added locker loop, this short was inspired by the heat and arid grounds of Death Valley. It can travel from the ocean to the mountains to the tennis courts with ease. Lightweight ripstop nylon, zipper pockets, and a mesh brief liner means that these shorts won’t stop going until you do. Experience the ultimate in versatility.
I ordered three pairs of the Rampage Shorts 2.0. When I pulled them out of the package I wasn't overly impressed. Then I wore them for five days of hiking in the hot summer weather of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I was an instant convert. The beauty is in the simplicity. Perfect 6 in length. Plenty of room in the legs. The two simple zip pockets are well designed. The shorts appear to be durable. I really like the elastic waste / belt combination. The liner is quite comfortable. I even love the locker room loop for drying out of the washing machine. What can I say These are my new go to summer activity shorts and I'll be ordering a few more.

Purchased two pairs of Rampage shorts several weeks ago...overall they are fantastic and the fit around the waist is handled by both the elastic and an adjustable belt (so you can gain or lose weight and the shorts will still fit). The shorts are also incredibly comfortable...very light but highly durable fabric that 'breathes'. The only adjustment I would add in manufacturing the shorts going forward is to include an additional lower side pocket for a cell phone--probably with a velcro closure. Doc

The Rampage Shorts hit all the right notes for me. The elastic waist and belt loops ensure a good fit and the leg openings and length have been perfect for backpacking and paddling rather than worrying about NBA chic. The mesh liner is comfortable and allows for use as swim trunks or those days when one just wants to feel um free. Bonus points for a zip back pocket and deep hip pockets that zip upwards -- loot stays secure even with a partially-zipped opening. Well done
