If you’re looking for maximum sun protection, our full sun-sombrero hat will be your go-to choice for headwear. The fabric is also made with the same tough, super-lightweight rip-stop nylon. Mesh panels are built into the front and back for optimal air flow. A closed cell-foam brim will keep the hat afloat should it fall into the drink, and it will maintain its shape over time. A safari cape offers full rear-neck protection; and when it’s not in use, the cape can be tucked back into the hat sleeve and hidden from view. Finally, a drawcord will keep the hat snug for those windy afternoons.

I have a closet shelf full of hats and the Sun Sombrero is currently my go to hat for sunny summer days. For a wide brim hat it is surprisingly good at handling wind without blowing off or flopping around too much. The chin strap and the cord that facilitates tightening the hat on your head are perfectly designed and make the Sun Sombrero work better for me than any other summer hat I have tried.

I love the Sun Sombrero. It fits very well and can be snugged up in the wind. The neck cover tucks away unnoticed when not in use. Water repels off nicely. Very protective and comfortable.

Almost the perfect hat for me wide brim adjustable fit sun shade that tucks away in the back light weight and properly vented for my hot head. The only negative is how the brim flops back when in wind. I ride my bike around town a cruiser so I'm not really a speed demon but in a mild wind the front brim always pops up. If the brim were a bit stiffer I'd give this a 5 star rating.
