“Keep her on this windward course skipper!” You are part of a crew of 18 sailors racing the prestigious Edgartown Regatta, Round the Island Race. You get assigned as one of the grinders on the boat. Brute muscle to crank the sheets in and out to move the sails. It is a grueling afternoon in 25 knots of breeze, but being out there with your mates is amazing. Crossing the finish in 3rd (not bad) you head for the showers for the yacht club post-race soiree. Dressed in pressed Khaki shorts, you grab your new Windward Top, a shirt so soft, and quite charming too. Made from buttery soft Hemp/organic cotton, it sooths your sunburnt skin and allows the onshore breeze to pass through. One last check in the mirror, and you saunter towards your first Mount Gay and Pineapple. Yachting, it doesn’t suck.
