Coming on the heels of the success of our Versatac Light shorts, we introduce to you the Versatac Ultra-light Shorts. Made with all the same great features as the Light. The Ultra-Lights are constructed with 2ply 3oz Rip-Stop Nylon (the same fabric we use in our Rampage Shorts). These featherweight quick dry cargo shorts weigh in at 9 ounces, but don't let that fool you into thinking they are not tough. Ideal men's nylon cargo shorts for hot weather wear, with all the features you have come to love in the Versatac family.
Reason for Being: We took our popular VersaTac pants and added an option for super hot weather. The VersaTac shorts have all the function and features of the pants without half the pant legs. The Ultra-Lights are the lightest in the VersaTac line.
Fabric: 3 ounce Rip-Stop nylon
Pockets: Huge cargo pockets with both button and Velcro closure. Additional side zipper for easy access to the pockets when sitting or kneeling. Cargo pockets have additional pockets inside for organization and a cell phone pocket behind.
I love these short for the hot and very humid climate of central Florida. They dry quickly. I only wish they were about two inches shorter so they come above my knee cap. It's OK a quick turn on the sewing machine and they are a perfect length for this 5'6" guy.

Great pair of shorts. Love the quick dry and elastic waist. Pockets give assume versatility knife pocket reinforcement leads to longer wearability. Third pair I own.

I purchased these shorts after owning the versatac ultra light pants. The shorts bring the cargo pockets up higher which is nice for activities with things in the pockets. The shorts are extremely lightweight with lots of useful pockets. Another favourite feature is the elastic on the waist band I wear a 31 and the small fits me perfectly. I have been very happy with railriders customer service. Amazing response time They have always taken care of me. I have a growing collection of Railriders clothing and look forward to adding more.
