The Gentlemen's Henley

Henley shirts originated in 19th-century England as the traditional, collarless uniform for rowers at the Henley Royal Regatta, with the first event in 1839. Chosen for comfort and breathability, the buttoned placket design allowed athletes to regulate their temperature as they stroked their way to the finish line.  Fast forward to 1995, you’re a member of the prestigious Harvard University top 8 rowing in the 3rd position in the shell.  Next week you and your mates will fly to London to compete in the Henley Regatta on the Thames River in England.
