Team RailRiders
Erika Flowers

Biography:

Born and raised in Montana, Erika found her love for skiing and the outdoors on the trails of the West. She turned that passion into a full-time Olympic endeavor. After racing for Dartmouth College and earning 3X All-American honors at the DI NCAA level, Erika joined the SMS T2 Elite Racing Team in Stratton, VT in 2012. Erika trains for National and International level cross-country ski racing year-round, living the dream out of a suitcase and a ski bag. She lives in the outdoors, logging over 750 hours of training each year running, roller-skiing, lifting weights, biking and working towards earning a spot on the U.S. Team at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Racing takes Erika around the world from the slick rock of Moab to the jagged peaks of the Italian Dolomites. Erika aims to empower women and girls through sport and founded Summit Sisters in 2014, a local hiking group with the goal of getting more women active and outside.  She is an ambassador for Fast and Female and the Women’s Sports Foundation and a coach for Girls on the Run. Erika is excited to be an ambassador for the RailRiders team and help create outdoor adventure clothing for the elite female athlete!
