Dopp kit is a term particularly in use in the US for toiletry bags. The name derives from the early 20th century leather craftsman Charles Doppelt, whose company designed the case in 1926. Toiletry kits had been issued by the US military services during World War I. "Toiletry" and "Dopp" kits became synonymous when the military issued them through World War II. Our new Gentleman’s Dopp Kit is quite the looker and very cleverly designed as well. Made from our signature dry wax cotton fabric, it opens to reveal a deep center well for bigger stuff, 2 zippered secure pockets and 3 quick stash pockets. And the piece de resistance, the hook to hang it up! Clever Eh?
