Fabric: The outside is a sueded 6oz nylon that is soft and tough. The inside is a polyester microfleece that keeps wind out and heat in.
Zipper Pockets: Both front and back pockets are closed by zipper, along with the hidden zippered security pocket. Welted side pockets zip open and closed for extra storage.
Reinforcement: The Lined Kodiak Pants are reinforced with an extra layer of fabric on the seat, knees, and ankles to provide extra durability even with extreme use.

Ok so I don't have a ton of experience with the Kodiak pants one week with temps at 20F and below. That said they are much warmer than my ofter RaidRider pants (X-Treme Adventure). My only issue with them is every pocket being zipped I find the zipper a bit rough and have scratch my hand a couple times putting it in to get something out. My preference would be to have the two main (front) pockets without zippers.
