Reason For Being: A lined pant that keeps you warm in absurdly cold temperatures without sacrificing on looks.
Fabric: The outside is a sueded 6oz nylon that is soft and tough. The inside is a polyester microfleece that keeps wind out and heat in.
Zipper Pockets: Both front and back pockets are closed by zipper, along with the hidden zippered security pocket. Welted side pockets zip open and closed for extra storage.
Reinforcement: The Lined Kodiak Pants are reinforced with an extra layer of fabric on the seat, knees, and ankles to provide extra durability even with extreme use.

these definitely handle the cold. I no longer need a base layer

Ok so I don't have a ton of experience with the Kodiak pants one week with temps at 20F and below. That said they are much warmer than my ofter RaidRider pants (X-Treme Adventure). My only issue with them is every pocket being zipped I find the zipper a bit rough and have scratch my hand a couple times putting it in to get something out. My preference would be to have the two main (front) pockets without zippers.

The best most durable versatile comfortable pants I own. Having a few pairs of Kodiac pants they are my only winter go to pants
