In November of 2014, landscape photographer Crystal Brindle headed down to New Zealand to spend the season as a Hut Warden for New Zealand’s Department of Conservation. Working out of the coastal Abel Tasman National Park, Crystal was on an 8-day on, 8-day off schedule that afforded her plenty of time to explore the country’s excessive natural beauty. Taking along her trusty camera, Crystal recorded some of the South Island’s most famous sites and captured them in stunning imagery.
This is merely a small sampling of Crystal’s work. If you would like to see more of her photos, or purchase the high-res versions, you can visit her website: www.inpursuitofthewild.com. Not only does she have many photos from her time as a Hut Warden, but there are galleries from some of the USA’s most famous natural places as well.
